Nell'estate del 2006, in occasione della morte di mia madre, ho sentito la necessità di fermare il dolore, cristallizzandolo in versi; a partire dal luglio 2007, la mia produzione di poesie è stata inarrestabile, arrivando a crearne oltre 250 in quattro anni.
Anche se ora ho una pausa di riflessione, il seme c'è, e sento che continuerà a far spuntare quel germoglio inarrestabile che è la meravigliosa possibilità di combinare parole a parole, significati nascosti e metafore palesi, in un crescendo di emozioni e di gioia. Tra gli Autori italiani che più prediligo vi sono Giuseppe Ungaretti, Eugenio Montale, Salvatore Quasimodo, Sandro Penna e Alda Merini; sono affascinato dai versi di Emily Dickinson, per ciò che riguarda i poeti stranieri.
Ho un sogno: coniugare i miei testi di poesia con le mie immagini, per dare un immediato significato visivo alla forma poetica.
In the summer of 2006, on the occasion of the death of my mother, I felt the need to stop the pain, and crystalling it in verses; from July 2007, my production of poetry was unstoppable, and I create more than 250 poems in four years. I feel the seed of poetry will continue to rise that unstoppable shoot that is the wonderful opportunity to combine words with words, hidden meanings and obvious metaphors, in a crescendo of emotion and joy. Giuseppe Ungaretti, Eugenio Montale, Salvatore Quasimodo, Sandro Penna and Alda Merini are the Italian authors that I prefer; I am fascinated by the poems of Emily Dickinson, as regards the foreign poets. I'm trying to join my poems with my pictures, to be able to link a visual meaning with the poetic structure.
